By using Raman microscopy for characterization of materials it is possible to determine the chemical composition, morphological characteristics, the distribution of the required component within samples, etc. In order to determine the presence of specific components in the complex systems, previous, it is necessary to record a spectrum of pure substances for comparison. However, for further spectrum analysis, spectrum pre-processing that involves baseline correction, intensity normalization and other procedures must be performed.
